Eat the word and declare it boldly; A 5780/2020 Heavenly Strategy

THE WORD OF THE LORD FOR YEAR 5780/2020

“EAT THE WORD and Declare it Boldly!"

I have been hearing we need to “EAT THE WORD and declare it boldly!”

That there is NEW and FRESH FAVOR on declaring and decreeing the Word of God starting now and continuing into this next year!

The Tide HAS turned in our favor and we need to EMBRACE, ENGAGE and EXERCISE the Favor of the Lord!!

I was praying and asking the LORD what He has for year 5780/2020 and I was seeking strategy to cultivate and steward our hearts and relationship with Him, as well as seeking strategy for His plans for us in every area of our lives.

HE TOOK ME TO THE PASTURE. LITERALLY!

One with sheep in them.

He took me back to BASICS!

Our foundation!

As I was driving and praying I came upon a small heard of sheep in a pasture.

They were EATING IN THE PASTURE.

HEADS DOWN, making their way within the secure place of the pasture and fence EATING AWAY!

Now I Have to tell you that usually the sheep were not in this area of the pasture where the grass seemed greener thicker and taller today, even amongst small trees.

Usually the sheep were gathered in a dirt area under another tree especially in the hot summertime. I’ve lived here 13 years driven by that farm countless times and I’ve never seen the sheep ON THIS SIDE OF THE PASTURE eating and grazing.

(It’s time we cross over to where the nutrients are! It’s time we switch pastures from just resting to actively eating and receiving)

Just as I was praying and asking the Lord for strategy for the new year for myself personally, for the local body of Christ, and for the body of Christ globally- I came around the bend and there they are -

I SEE THE SHEEP WITH THEIR HEADS DOWN EATING IN THE PASTURE AT REST AND SECURE.

This spoke volumes to me because the week prior I had just ministered the Word to my small group telling them how important it was that we needed to be EATING THE WORD OF GOD and DECLARING IT BOLDLY.

Just as I saw the sheep with their heads down eating, making their way around the little shade trees in the lush pasture the Lord said, “EAT THE WORD!”.

I knew that was the foundation of the strategy for the rest of the year and for our good. People have gotten away from reading His word. We need to be eating the word as we rest in the pasture.

The sheep were ACTIVELY walking and EATING with their heads down.

RESTING in the pasture MEANS that we TRUST THE SHEPHERD.

The foundation by which everything we do as Believers is His Word. People are not eating His Word so therefore they are malnourished. They are walking wounded and defeated being easily swayed by the world and deceived by the enemy.

His sheep are Forgetting where their help comes from.(Psalm 121 and Philippians 4:13)

Where their source of nourishment and strength comes from. Not just the word of God BUT the HOLY SPIRIT! Those without the baptism of the Holy Spirit are at a disadvantage.

They are not accessing FULL power of the Trinity. They are not operating in their full authority. They are not experiencing the FULLNESS of God’s Promises.

With the Ministry of the Holy Spirit comes the 7 (divine perfection) spirits of God. And we shall not judge with our own eyes or what our own ears hear but what the Lord says and sees!

Isaiah 11:1-3

1. The Spirit of The LORD

2. WISDOM

3. UNDERSTANDING

4. COUNSEL

5. MIGHT

6. KNOWLEDGE

7. FEAR OF THE LORD

This is crucial to the believer seeking more from the Lord. This is crucial to those who he has positioned in spiritual governmental offices. This is how we persevere! By The Word of The Lord and Power of the Holy Spirit.

The Word for 5780/2020

EAT THE WORD and DECREE IT BOLDLY! REST AND TRUST THE SHEPHERD IN THE PASTURE! KEEP MOVING BUT KEEP EATING!

Psalm 34:8-10 NKJV

[8] Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! [9] Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. [10] The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
