Why would anyone want to withhold a GOOD thing from people, killing their opportunity for a better and more spirit empowered life?
For instance, the Holy Spirit and His gifts has been withheld from so many. These are GOOD and necessary for LIFE! Why else would God have given them to us and call The Holy Spirit himself THE HELPER!
I was thinking about how amazing the Holy Spirit is and that He is a gift. A literal gift sent from the Father upon Jesus’s request for us!
He and his gifts are all GOOD and powerful. They were given to help us, to advance and accomplish the purposes of kingdom - releasing heaven on earth. SO THAT you don’t have to wait until you “get” to heaven to experience its likeness and culture.
Jesus was baptized and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
You see when Jesus did anything GOOD it came under scrutiny and criticism.
He would heal and they (Pharisees) would immediately try to discredit and conspire to kill him.
He would do a miracle of multiplication adding to people’s life by feeding them - they would immediately try to discredit and conspire to kill him.
No matter what our GOOD SAVIOR did he was criticized, ridiculed, slandered, discredited, and the ultimate silencing of his ministry and voice was to kill him. Satan is relentless with silencing one who knows the truth, does good and speaks of it.
From the beginning of his ministry He walked this earth with people conspiring to silence and kill him. All because he had an answer that was greater and he went about doing good and speaking truth. He was unconventional, he was blunt yet he was compassionate. He was wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. Why did he continue to do it despite the ones who sought to destroy and kill him.
Because He loved people too much to leave them where they were. He knew better. He had the answer. He saw what others could not see. He knew the very spirit that sought to kill him and them yet he would have the final say and victory over it.
So I ask you again, Why would anyone want to withhold a GOOD thing from people, killing their opportunity for a better and more spirit empowered life? You can apply this question to what is going on in the world right now.
JESUS IS SPEAKING through His people that are empowered by this GOOD GIFT, The Holy Spirit, and in so many ways Satan is seeking to silence and kill. For thief only comes to steal, to kill and to destroy! BUT JESUS CAME THAT WE MIGHT HAVE LIFE (A GOOD SPIRIT EMPOWERED OVERFLOWING LIFE) and HAVE IT ABUNDANTLY. John 10:10
There is a withholding of GOOD knowledge, facts, and truth happening. The withholding of GOOD! There are people out there conspiring to shut down and silence those who speak truth and are trying to do good. But the problem will always lie within ones heart and the space between their ears. Divided minds cannot agree. Hearts can be healed and changed but until the mind is renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit and God’s word there will not be a full regeneration of that man. We all have free will to think and choose. Until we align our hearts and minds with God and everything his word says we will remain divided. He is the common ground. His ways, his words, his laws, and his Spirit! Why else would we have denominations... it’s because man could not agree on the whole truth.
Unfortunately we cannot even agree on what is GOOD.
God says He will withhold NO GOOD THING.
Let us receive what He is trying to give us.
For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
Psalm 84:11
